Filming of the New Year's comedy "Christmas Trees 13" has ended in Moscow

Bazelevs Film company, together with the Toomuch Production film company and the distributor NMG Kinoprokat (part of the National Media Group holding), in partnership with Channel One, are pleased to announce the completion of filming of the New Year's franchise "Christmas Trees 13". Gleb Kalyuzhny, Polina Gukhman, Tatiana Dogileva and Fedor Dobronravov joined the cast of the iconic film franchise.

We remind you that Sergey Burunov, Andrey Rozhkov, Olga Kartunkova, Valentina Mazunina, blogger and singer Masha (Maria Kamova), Andrey Maksimov, Alexander Sheps, Maria Smolnikova, Ekaterina Shkuro and Sergey Romanovich will also play in the new part. The film will be released in wide release traditionally in December.

The film was produced by Timur Asadov, Lala Rustamova, Ara Khachatryan, Maria Zatulovskaya and Dmitry Pachulia. Zhora Kryzhovnikov and Pyotr Vnukov became creative producers again. The directors of the novels are Zhora Gooseberry ("The Word of a kid. Blood on the asphalt", "Ice", "Christmas Trees 12"), Olga Dolmatovskaya ("Christmas Trees 12", "Moscow does not believe in tears. Everything is just beginning"), Anton Fedotov ("Hotel Eleon") and Yuri Korobeynikov ("Christmas Trees 12", "Curious Varvara"). The screenwriters are Peter Vnukov and Zhora Gooseberry, who also worked on "Christmas Trees 12".

"Christmas Trees 13" will tell about the fates of people intertwined with the help of real New Year's magic and magic in one big story, because the serial number of the new part of the franchise is a symbol of change and transformation.

On New Year's Eve, four hearts (Gleb Kalyuzhny, Polina Gukhman, Alexandra Tikhonova and Oleg Pavlinsky) find themselves embroiled in a series of amusing misunderstandings in a student dormitory in Tomsk. A secret gift, mixed-up confessions, jealousy, accidental coincidences and one injury at the skating rink turn an ordinary holiday into a real emotional quest. While everyone is sure that their feelings are unrequited, fate repeatedly confronts the characters with each other, forcing them to reveal their secrets. But will they be able to figure out this love parallelepiped before the chimes strike, or will the New Year change their lives forever?

"I am glad that I have finally returned to filming and that the first project was everyone's favorite "Christmas Trees". It was great to meet colleagues on the set and work on the New Year's Eve project with Zhora Kryzhovnikov and his team," said actor Gleb Kalyuzhny.

On her tenth birthday, Dasha (Polina Kareva) prepares gifts for friends, bakes a cake with her grandmother (Tatiana Dogileva) and looks forward to the guests. But one by one, everyone refuses to come, leaving the girl alone with pain and disappointment. A heartfelt video recorded in a moment of desperation unexpectedly sets off a chain of events that goes far beyond her small town. Thousands of strangers come to her aid to give her the main miracle — support that can connect completely different hearts. While the whole country is helping Dasha, she comes to the aid of Fyodor Dobronravov's equally lonely hero. This story once again confirms the main rule of the universe of "Christmas Trees": the good always comes back.

On May 29, Medialogia presented the top 30 Russian series ratings for April 2026. The series "Molodezhka" became the leader (2057 points). For the first time since January, the rating was topped by a Russian project. The top five also included the TV series "Boys" (The Boys, 2013 points), "Magic Battle" (1839 points), "Daddy's Daughters" (1788 points) and "Univer" (1682 points).
