Two high-tech production facilities have been opened in the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. Medical equipment and on-board lighting equipment for civil aviation, passenger ships and the space industry will be produced here, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in the Maks messenger.
In particular, new facilities have been launched at one of the enterprises that will produce steam sterilizers, disinfection washing machines and other infection control equipment necessary for the operation of medical institutions, pharmaceutical industries and laboratories.
"This will help to cover up to 50% of the needs of the Russian disinfection equipment market," Sobyanin wrote.
In addition, the scientific and production center "Research Institute of Micro-Appliances" was opened. Lighting equipment for passenger cabins and crew cabins and other equipment will be produced at the site. The products are characterized by increased service life and reduced energy consumption.
"The new complex of the enterprise is significantly larger than the previous one — the volume of output increased by 25%. The plans for 2027 include the production of up to 50,000 products per year," the mayor said.
The projects were implemented through private investments with the support of the city. Over 460 jobs have been created at the enterprises.
According to Sobyanin's estimates, Technopolis Moscow is the largest SEZ in Russia: more than 2.1 million square meters have been built on the territory of the special economic zone. m of industrial and public and business areas. The total volume of private and budgetary investments in the development of industry in the SEZ by the end of 2025 amounted to 493 billion rubles. There are more than 240 high-tech companies located there.
