A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a moose on the St. Petersburg-Pskov federal highway. This is reported by the Pskov news feed with reference to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Pskov region.

The accident occurred late on Sunday evening, June 14, on the 166th km of the highway, located in the Pskov region. A Honda Pacific Coast motorcycle crashed into a moose that suddenly entered the roadway.

The 27-year-old motorcyclist did not have time to slow down. As a result of the collision, he received various fatal injuries. He died on the spot.
