If Ukraine does not fulfill its obligations reached under the agreements with Hungary, Budapest will hinder the process of Kiev's integration into the European Union (EU). This was announced on June 15 by Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orban.

"Today, the opening of the first cluster of negotiations with Ukraine will take place, which will address issues of fundamental rights, democracy and the rule of law. The agreement reached by both sides was included in this process. This means that if Ukraine does not comply with this agreement, the accession process within individual clusters will automatically be suspended," she said in a video posted on the website of the EU Audiovisual Service.
