The governments of Western countries that supply weapons to Ukraine become accomplices in the crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russian citizens. This was stated on June 15 by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Yana Lantratova, in an appeal to international legal structures.

"By supplying weapons to the Kiev regime and controlling the use of these weapons, especially long—range systems, Western governments are becoming complicit in crimes that violate international humanitarian law," she said in a statement.

In the message Lantratov gives examples of recent facts of war crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She pointed to attacks on a college and a dormitory in Starobilsk, attacks on the Defense of Sevastopol panorama museum and other incidents.

Lantratova stressed that supplying the Kiev regime with weapons leads to new civilian casualties. She noted that long-range missiles are particularly dangerous, the use of which cannot be considered as an internal matter of Ukraine. According to her, suppliers not only transfer weapons, but actually control their use.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov handed over photos and videos from the site of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the college in Starobilsk to Vladimir Kuznetsov, Director of the UN Information Center in Moscow. During the conversation, Alimov called the statements of the UN secretariat in New York about the inability to verify the circumstances of the incident due to lack of access to the scene untenable. The diplomat stressed that Moscow is ready to ensure the visit of a delegation of the world organization to Starobilsk, by analogy with the previously organized visit of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to the city.
