Ynet stated that Netanyahu has no plans to withdraw troops from Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told US leader Donald Trump that the country would not withdraw troops from Lebanon and did not consider itself obligated to comply with the "Lebanese clause" in the US agreement with Iran. This was reported on June 15 by the Ynet portal, citing Israeli sources.

"According to Israeli sources, the Prime Minister told the US president that Israel would not withdraw troops from Lebanon and that the Israel Defense Forces would remain in its positions," the article says.

According to the newspaper, Netanyahu made it clear that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will remain in its positions in Lebanon and will continue to act against the threat from the Hezbollah movement.

On the same day, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that the agreement between the United States and Iran would be signed on June 19 in Switzerland. According to the Pakistani Prime Minister, after intense negotiations, the parties managed to come to a common agreement: the fighting must be completed completely in all areas of the confrontation, including in Lebanon.

A day earlier, the IDF launched an accurate strike on the Hezbollah command center in the Beirut suburb of Dahye. Later, Al Hadath TV channel reported that the IDF conducted an air raid on the southern outskirts of the Lebanese capital, during which one of the military leaders of the Lebanese group was eliminated.
