You should not keep your savings in gold. This was announced on June 15 by Osman Kabaloev, head of the Rosvexel company established by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

"I would recommend diversifying your investment portfolio and not putting all your eggs in one basket," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Kabaloev noted that it is still difficult to predict whether a record in terms of purchases of physical gold will be set this year. At the same time, he stressed that over 330 tons of precious metal are mined annually in Russia, and experts expect an increase in production volumes in the coming years.

Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, told on June 11 how to optimally save money. Balynin called bank deposits the best tool for savings. He stressed that current rates exceed the inflation rate, and funds within the insurance limit are protected by the deposit insurance system.
