The former president of Armenia was not allowed to fly out of the country
The second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, was unable to fly out of the country through Zvartnots airport. This was announced on June 14 by the head of the office of the ex-president Bagrat Mikoyan.
Earlier, Kocharyan's office informed about the plans of the former head of state to go on a three-day trip abroad. According to the office, the trip was of a private nature and had been planned in advance, but it had to be postponed several times due to the busy pre‑election schedule.
Mikoyan stressed that the upcoming visit had already been announced publicly.
