Football player Matvey Safonov got married

Russian goalkeeper of the French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Matvey Safonov married his wife, Marina Kondratyuk. This became known on June 14th.

"A year ago, we started preparing for our wedding party. Yesterday, that very evening took place and we were able to gather close and dear people at the same table," Kondratyuk wrote on her Telegram channel.

The portal "Sport-Express" notes that the couple officially signed in Paris back in March 2025.

Matvey took the main European club trophy again, now in the main squad.

Marina Kondratyuk, the wife of the Russian goalkeeper of the Paris Saint-Germain football club Matvey Safonov, said on May 31 that she had assembled a Russian tricolor of small flags designed for the French flag on the podium of the Champions League final. Kondratyuk explained that the couple had forgotten the Russian flag at home, and in order for the country's flag to appear on the podium and then on the field of Budapest's Puskas Arena, they used small flags to support the French fans.
