Polish investigators have discovered 32 human embryos buried at the site of pathologist Magdalena H. in the village of Lutoryzh near Rzeszow in Poland. This was reported on June 13 by the newspaper Wyborcza.

"The authorities officially reported the discovery of 32 fruits buried at various depths," the article says.

According to the investigation, medical materials and fragments of destroyed documentation were also found at the site. The discovered remains were taken to the morgue. A number of examinations will be conducted there to determine how long they have been underground. 57-year-old Magdalena H. was detained.

Investigators intend to charge her with abusing the remains and leaving medical materials in an unintended location. The prosecutor's office notes that the investigation is at an early stage and does not exclude the involvement of others. According to unofficial information, the doctor claimed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, she took dead fetuses from the hospital for medical research.

On April 19, People magazine reported that the remains of 50 infants and six adults had been found by local police at the Kumuto Cemetery in Trinidad and Tobago, South America. Almost all the adults, with the exception of one man, had identification tags. It is tentatively assumed that there was a case of illegal burial of unclaimed bodies. The police called the discovery alarming and stressed that all persons involved in possible violations will be brought to justice.
