Separate combat groups of the 425th Skala assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are suffering losses near the village of Ulanovo in the Sumy region, a source in the Russian security forces said on June 14.

It is noted that the Ukrainian troops are trying to restrain the Russian Army's offensive in this sector of the front.

"The enemy is deploying separate combat groups of the 425th separate Skala assault regiment, which are suffering losses near Ulanovo," RIA Novosti quoted the source as saying.

It is specified that as a result of a fierce small-arms battle on the outskirts of Ulanovo, our military captured two militants of the 210th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the same day, it was reported that in hospitals in Sumy region, cases of deaths of seriously wounded Ukrainian servicemen were recorded after their forced discharge from medical institutions — they died due to lack of qualified medical care.

Leonid Tarasenko, a captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, noted on June 13 that the Sumy region was discussing the possibility of the region joining Russia, because many local residents worked in the Russian Federation.
