Putin wished good luck to the Russian fighters in advancing to Zaporizhia

Russian President Vladimir Putin, meeting with participants of the special military operation (SVO) on Russia Day in the Kremlin, clarified where they are currently fighting geographically and wished good luck in the offensive.

Communicating with the military in an informal setting after an official conversation, the president learned from one of the fighters that the Dnepr group of troops, in which he is a member, is gradually "making its way to Zaporozhye."

"Good luck to you," the head of state told the military during a conversation, the footage of which was published by Pavel Zarubin, the author of the Vesti news agency.

In turn, the participants of the special military operation presented Putin with chevrons and battalion and regimental flags. The President thanked the fighters. Putin also signed the photographs with his portrait and on the battle flags at the request of the military.

Meeting with the participants of the SVR in the Catherine Hall of the Kremlin on the occasion of the celebration of Russia Day on June 12, Putin noted that Russia alone opposes the entire collective West in the form of NATO. The North Atlantic Alliance, as the Russian leader explained, is doing everything to organize hostile actions against the Russian Federation, and it was its members, not Russia, who unleashed the conflict. He added that a number of countries joined NATO after 2022 in order to get "a piece of the pie" in the event of Russia's defeat.
