An F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet crashed in the USA

An American F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet crashed in Yakima County, Washington. This was reported on June 13 by the CBS News channel.

"The pilot suffered minor injuries after ejecting and was taken to the hospital, the Yakima County Sheriff's Office said," the publication says.

It is noted that the aircraft crashed during scheduled training flights. As a result, a forest fire started at the crash site. Currently, the fire is being fought, the causes of the incident with the aircraft are being investigated.

Four people were injured earlier in the day in the city of Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA, as a result of the crash of a Robinson R44 helicopter at the airport.
