Clashes between protesters have occurred in a number of UK cities.

There have been clashes in several UK cities during protests against mass migration. This was reported on June 13 by The Guardian.

"There were clashes between protesters in UK cities after the riots in Belfast," the publication says.

It is noted that protests took place in Brighton, Liverpool, Sheffield and Glasgow, Scotland.

It is known that the protests broke out against the background of the recent riots in Belfast, provoked by a knife attack on one of the local residents. The situation in Glasgow was particularly difficult: the police had to intervene to separate the opposing groups and prevent new clashes.

London police detained 31 people at protests on May 16. Izvestia's footage from the site of the protests shows that all that keeps the groups from rioting is a small security corridor created by the police.
