The senator recalled payments for unemployed mothers in Russia
Russian mothers who do not have official employment are entitled to a fixed payment, maternity capital, monthly means of caring for an infant up to one and a half years old, as well as a single allowance, which is paid both during pregnancy and for a child up to 17 years old. Senator Airat Gibatdinov recalled this on June 14.
"A non-working mother in Russia does not remain without state support. First, the family is entitled to a lump sum at birth. One of the parents can receive it. If only one person works, the allowance is issued at his place of work or service. If both parents do not work, the application is submitted through the Social Fund of Russia or the Gosuslugi portal," he told RIA Novosti.
