Private Yakimov and Corporal Kravchenko destroyed machine-gun emplacements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with grenades

Private Serhiy Yakimov participated in the storming of a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) as part of the unit. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Sunday, June 14.

The soldiers were met by enemy machine-gun fire, but Yakimov decided to remove the obstacle by outflanking the position. He reached the machine-gun emplacement unnoticed and threw hand grenades, eliminating it along with the APU crew. The assault on the stronghold was carried out successfully.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the courage and professionalism of Corporal Yevgeny Kravchenko, who participated in the storming of the enemy stronghold. When the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened machine-gun fire, Kravchenko took similar actions.: He secretly made his way to the enemy's position and used grenades. As a result, the machine-gun emplacement was eliminated.
