On June 13, the national teams of Qatar and Switzerland announced the starting squads for the 2026 World Cup group stage match.

The Qatari team will include Abounada, Al-Owi, Pedro Miguel, Khouhi, Al-Amin, Abdulsallam, Madibo, Laye, Edmilson, Afif and Abdourisag from the first minutes on the field. Kobel, Akanji, Elvedi, Rodriguez, Ebisher, Zakaria, Xhaka, Froiler, Ndoye, Vargas and Embolo will play for Switzerland from the first minutes, Sport-Express reports.
