Russian gunners destroyed the AFU UAV control center in Konstantinovka

Soldiers of the 238th Guards Artillery Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed fortified shelters and a control point for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Konstantinovka. This was reported on June 13 in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"The battery is currently working in the Konstantinovsky direction. This is mainly the support of the assault units, paving the way for them. We also destroy various warehouses, control points, including UAVs. We destroy the targets that we find," said the platoon commander with the call sign Donbass.

The ministry noted that during the combat mission, the gunners carried out a series of precise strikes against the targets of the remaining Ukrainian Armed Forces militants in Konstantinovka. The targets were discovered by UAV operators during aerial reconnaissance. The positions were set up in a residential area of the city, where enemy personnel tried to hide from the incessant attacks by Russian troops.

"After confirming the target, the coordinates were transferred to the calculation of the 2A36 Hyacinth-B cannon. As a result of the accurate work of the gunners, the targets were hit along with the personnel and specialized equipment in them," the Defense Ministry concluded.

Planning groundwork: aviation began hunting for enemy UAV command posts

To destroy them, aircraft use high-precision bombs with UMPC modules.

On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Armed Forces had completely taken control of the eastern districts of Konstantinovka, as well as reached its northeastern outskirts. Currently, the Russian military is destroying an encircled group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southwestern part of the city and on the territory of a local metallurgical plant.
