Russians were told about pension increases in July

The increase in payments is expected for pensioners who reached the age of 80 in June; those who received disability group I for the first time, as well as citizens with dependents. Lyudmila Ivanova-Shvets, Associate Professor of the Basic Department of Human Resource Management at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, told about this on June 13.

"The double amount of the fixed part of the pension, amounting to 19,169.38 rubles instead of 9,584.69 rubles, will be received by citizens who turned 80 in May and those who have been diagnosed with disability group I for the first time," Ivanova—Shvets said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
