It is noted that the US authorities deliberately concealed from the Americans information about the existence of laboratories funded by Washington in other countries, including Ukraine, and in some of them they were engaged in research using dangerous and highly contagious pathogens. They discussed, among other things, strains of anthrax, tularemia, tuberculosis, African swine fever, Newcastle disease, Ebola virus, Lassa fever, plague and other diseases.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, in turn, said that Russia considers the military-biological activities of the United States and its allies near the Russian borders as a potential threat to national security.

As part of the celebration of Russia Day, residents of different cities organized festive events and participated in them. The festive events started on June 11.
