Lyudmila Chursina, People's Artist of the USSR, Soviet and Russian theater and film actress, was buried at the Sestroretsk Cemetery in St. Petersburg. Izvestia publishes footage from the ceremony on June 12.

An honor guard was involved in the Funeral ceremony. His representatives, accompanied by an orchestra, carried a portrait of Chursina and a wreath of scarlet roses decorated with wide ribbons in the colors of the Russian tricolor.

The people gathered at the cemetery stood on the parade ground and occasionally talked. Many held bouquets in their hands, and some did not stop crying. The service ended with a military salvo of honor, followed by the Russian national anthem.

The actress, according to her friend actor Sergei Parshin, was a universal favorite, whose death was a loss for the whole country.
