In California, a huge warehouse of the American medical company Medline Industries with an area of 93 thousand square meters was completely destroyed by fire as a result of a fire. This was reported by U.S.News magazine on June 12.

"On Thursday, a fire destroyed a medical equipment warehouse in Northern California, thick black smoke rose into the sky and other nearby facilities had to be evacuated while authorities fought the fire," the material says.

Medline said that all its employees and other personnel at the scene are safe. The mayor of Tracy, Dan Arriola, in turn, noted that the fire is raging in an industrial area far from residential buildings.

The head of the Tracy Fire Department, Randall Bradley, said that when rescuers got inside, the fire extinguishing system did not work, and there was no water in the hydrants. The flames engulfed the building in just half an hour, and it may take several days to eliminate it. According to local authorities, this fire is one of the four largest warehouse fires in the history of the United States.

In the US state of Tennessee, a large fire broke out at the Sigma Renew 360 plastic recycling plant on May 9, and a black column of smoke appeared above the plant. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, firefighters continue to fight the fire. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
