Norwegian police fined Swedes for throwing stones across the border with Russia

Three Swedish citizens were detained by Norwegian police and fined more than $800 for throwing stones across Norway's border with Russia. This was reported on June 11 by the police of the Finnmark border region.

"Police have detained three Swedish citizens who threw stones across the border from Norway to Russia. All of them were fined 8,000 kronor ($844 — Ed.) for violating the border," the Norwegian law enforcement authorities said in a statement.
