Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet received an invitation from the American side to attend the G20 summit in the United States. This was announced on June 12 by the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large for the G20 and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), Marat Berdyev.

"According to the established tradition in the G20, such invitations are sent out closer to the summit itself, about a month and a half in advance," he explained to RIA Novosti.
