inXile Entertainment studio has long been known for its story-driven RPGs, but Clockwork Revolution looks like the team's most ambitious project to date. The game takes place in the fictional steampunk city of Avalon. The main feature of the project will be a time travel system. The player will be able to move between different eras and change the events of the past, observing how these decisions affect the appearance of the city and the fate of its inhabitants in the present.

For a long time, it was not known what the That's No Moon studio, founded in 2021 by shooter veterans, was working on. Many expected something related to Star Wars, but the team's debut project turned out to be a new game in the universe of the famous Crossfire online shooter series. Apparently, the project seeks to rethink the mechanics of shelters. To do this, the developers have created a system that allows the character to interact realistically with the elements of the environment, using terrain and objects to move and protect. Shooting also looks unusual: when pointing a weapon from a third person, the game shows the picture as if the player is looking through a first-person sight.

Exodus

Genre: action role-playing
When it will be released: in 202
What to play on: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S

Many are already calling Exodus the spiritual heir to the Mass Effect series, and for good reason. The team includes several former BioWare developers, and the game offers a familiar formula: a third-person exploration of the world, a plot with an emphasis on choices and consequences, the distant future, unusual alien races and charismatic companions. The universe of the project had already begun to expand before its release: two science fiction novels by the famous writer Peter Hamilton, as well as a full-fledged tabletop role-playing game, were published on it.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

Evil Empire Studio, famous for playing Dead Cells and the Return to Castlevania add-on, finally got the opportunity to work on a full-fledged new project of the famous Konami series. And, judging by the first shots, the choice of the developer turned out to be more than successful. The main character of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse will be Rose Belmont, who uses the vampire hunters' trademark whip, as well as a sword and shield to fight hordes of supernatural monsters. Players will explore a vast world, magical abilities, as well as the classic structure of metroidvania with the gradual opening of new areas on the levels.

There are many games inspired by Metal Gear Solid. Even Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima actively borrows ideas from his legendary series in projects like Death Stranding and Physint. However, usually such projects offer to take on the role of a conditional "Snake". In Burn-9, you will have to play not as a field agent, but as a person who directs the operation from headquarters. The task is to help the only surviving member of the elite squad after a secret mission went wrong and turned into a disaster. As an operator, gamers will guide the heroine to a safe exit, balancing the demands of military leadership and harsh reality. It's up to the users to decide what information to disclose, what to hide, and who to trust.

The new Fable will be a kind of relaunch of the famous series, which will give a new generation of players the opportunity to get acquainted with this project. The role of the main antagonist will be played by actress Hayley Atwell. Her character is a legendary defender of the world, convinced that only she deserves to be called a real hero. Also appearing in the game is Natasia Demetriou, known for the TV series "What are We Doing in the Shadows", who will play a character named Jenny. Jack Klinkov, the main villain of the original Fable, will return in some form.

After experimenting with multiplatform, the series returns to its roots. Gears of War: E-Day will be an Xbox console exclusive and will be released only on Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game promises to become noticeably more violent and spectacular. The Coalition studio has also added new movement mechanics, which will make the battles more dynamic. The events of E-Day unfold 14 years before the start of the first Gears of War and tell about the Day of the Breakthrough — the moment when hordes of Locusts first broke out of the ground and started a war against humanity. Multiplayer will not be ignored either. In addition to the classic network modes, players will enjoy a new Horde Raid for 12 people.

After the release of Resident Evil Requiem, many expected that the next project would be another remake. However, instead of the supposed reinterpretation of Resident Evil 5 or another version of the original game, the company pleasantly surprised fans with the announcement of Resident Evil Code: Veronica. This game has a special meaning for the series. During development, the project was conceived as a full-fledged Resident Evil 3, however, due to Capcom's business decisions, it remained with an irregular subtitle. It is in Code: Veronica that the story of Claire Redfield continues, as well as revealing the most important details of the past of Umbrella Corporation and its founders.

Stellar Blade: Blood Rain

Genre: action, adventure
When it will be released: in 2027
What to play on: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2

After the success of the first part, Shift Up Studio is working on a sequel. The main new heroine of the game will be Evie. Judging by the debut trailer, she is noticeably different from Eva from the first part. Instead of fighting with the sword, the developers will focus on hand-to-hand martial arts, and acrobatic techniques will play a key role in the battles.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake

Genre: action, adventure
When it will be released: in 2026
What to play on: Nintendo Switch 2

Rumors that have been circulating on the Web for many years have finally been confirmed — a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is indeed in the works. Nintendo presented the game with a short teaser, thereby confirming that the release will take place in 2026 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2. While there are few details, it is already clear that Nintendo intends to carefully rethink one of the most influential games in the history of the industry.
