Moscow and Sao Paulo have agreed to cooperate in the field of digitalization

Representatives of the Moscow government and the state—owned Sao Paulo technology operator signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of digitalization. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of the Russian capital Natalia Sergunina.

"Moscow continues to strengthen relations with its BRICS partners. The signed document was the result of the participation of the capital's specialists in a large—scale international forum, the Innovation Week in Sao Paulo," Sergunina said.

The memorandum provides for cooperation in the field of digital transformation and smart city technologies. The parties will also share their experience in developing electronic platforms and implementing modern technological solutions, and hold joint conferences and seminars.

At the Innovation Week in Sao Paulo, experts from the metropolitan Department of Information Technology spoke at sessions on modern services for residents, digital technologies in construction and the use of artificial intelligence. In addition, Moscow presented its key IT projects on a foreign platform. Among them is the digital twin of the city, which is used for making managerial decisions.

The forum participants were also shown the possibilities of the urban digital ecosystem, including the portal mos.ru , which unites more than 460 services and services. In addition, the capital's specialists presented the Mostech platform, which includes tools for software development, information system maintenance, data storage and protection.
