The Russian government has increased import duties on palm oil from unfriendly countries to 35%, instead of the previously established 5%, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation reported on June 11.
"A government decree has been signed to increase import customs duties to 35% on the supply of palm oil and its fractions from unfriendly countries to the Russian Federation, with the exception of Hungary and Slovakia," the statement said.
