Sobyanin awarded outstanding residents of Moscow on the eve of Russia Day

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, on the eve of Russia Day celebrated on June 12, held a ceremony to present state awards from the president of the country and from the capital to outstanding residents of the metropolis, whom he called "true professionals in their field and patriots of the country."

In particular, Vyacheslav Bocharov, first Deputy Secretary of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, president of the Federation of Sports for People with Musculoskeletal Disorders, was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, IV degree, Sobyanin said on his channel in Maks. The Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, was awarded to Yulia Nazarova, Deputy head of the Department for Ensuring the activities of the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights at the Office of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, and Alexander Samusev, Chairman of the Board of the Fund for Veterans and Reserve Officers of the Russian Armed Forces "Officer Brotherhood".

The Luke Krymsky Medal for high professionalism and dedication shown in providing medical care in extreme conditions was awarded to paramedics Alexey Katsan, Stanislav Kovalev and Dmitry Khromov, anesthesiologist Alexey Petrov and Natalia Popova, head of the specialized medical assistance teams for emergency situations.

The capital's awards for professional achievements were also presented — the insignia "For Impeccable service to the city of Moscow", the badge of honor and honorary titles. In particular, Boris Kalinskiy, Head of the Traumatology Department No. 26 of the Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Botkin Moscow National Medical Center, and Nikita Savelov, head of the Pathology and Anatomical Service of the 62nd Hospital, were awarded them.

Larisa Kosyakova, an elementary school teacher at School No. 1411, and Nadezhda Perfilova, the principal of school No. 2098, are also among the awardees. The chairman of the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions, Yuri Pavlov, and bus driver Alexander Korobov also received awards.
