Russia and Bahrain called for the speedy restoration of unhindered and safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. This was announced on June 11 in the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry following talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdel Latif bin Rashed al-Zayani.

"At the same time, the foreign ministers stressed the importance of restoring stable, unhindered and safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, which is of crucial importance to the global economy, as soon as possible," the statement said.

Lavrov also stressed that Russia calls on the parties involved to refrain from steps that could lead to the resumption of a large-scale war in the Middle East. According to the minister, the Russian Federation also considers attacks on civilian infrastructure facilities located in Arab countries to be categorically unacceptable.

On the same day, Trump threatened Iran with powerful strikes on June 12. He is convinced that the naval forces, aviation, radar facilities, air defense systems and most of Iran's offensive potential have already been destroyed. CNN reported on June 11 that negotiations between the United States and Iran on a peaceful settlement of the conflict are continuing, despite the latest strikes.

One of the last strikes was carried out on the night of June 10-11. The strikes hit the islands of Qeshm and Hengam from the American side and 18 military targets at US bases from the Iranian side. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow was calling for restraint from Washington and Tehran after they began exchanging fire again.
