The Izvestia newspaper and the REN TV channel became the leaders of the Medialogia rating in April

Following the results of April, Izvestia once again confirmed its status as the leader among the print media in Russia. The citation index (CI) of the publication, by a significant margin from competitors, was 2,256.75. The newspaper Kommersant is in second place (CI — 1 747.18), and Vedomosti is in third (CI — 943.03).

"The leader of the rating in April among newspapers is Izvestia. The publication reported that the Federal Air Transport Agency appealed to the Ministry of Transport with a proposal to ban the use of powerbanks on board aircraft. Izvestia also reported, citing a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry, that China has expressed its readiness to extend the mutual visa—free regime with Russia for a year," the Media Company said in a statement.

Meanwhile, REN TV has become the leader in terms of citations in the media and in social media among Russian TV channels. The citation index was 581.08, and the involvement in social media was 86,941. The TOP materials of the TV channel included: "The head of the Investigative Committee instructed to open a case after the REN TV story about the fugitive Ukrainian oligarch" and "Searches are taking place at the management of Eksmo-AST".

When calculating the rating, Russian federal media were taken into account, as well as online resources covering federal and regional events.
