Negotiations between the United States and Iran on a peaceful settlement of the conflict continue, despite the exchange of blows. This was reported on June 11 by CNN, citing a source.

"Negotiations are continuing despite the overnight exchange of strikes between the United States and Iran, which threatened to complicate diplomatic efforts," the article says.

The source of the publication clarified that the negotiations are proceeding according to plan.

On June 10, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the start of additional strikes against targets in Iran. According to the command, attacks were carried out on several targets in the country. It was also clarified that the operation was carried out by order of the Supreme Commander.

On June 11, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced strikes against 18 targets at US military bases in the region. According to the statement, the strikes were carried out in response to the actions of the US military against a number of corps units, coastal posts, police facilities and the Bandar Abbas airport area.
