The forward of the hockey club "Norilsk" Egor Yadykin died at the age of 21 under tragic circumstances. This was announced on June 11 in the club's press service.
"It is with deep regret and pain in our hearts that we inform you that our player Egor Yadykin passed away under tragic circumstances. During his performances at HC Norilsk, he proved himself not just a professional and promising player, but a true selfless fighter for whom team ideals were above all," the Telegram channel says.
The club noted that the news of the athlete's sudden death came as a shock to everyone. The details of the tragic incident that led to the death of the hockey player have not yet been disclosed.
In the 2025/26 season, the forward had 46 matches in the regular season of the All-Russian Hockey League (VHL), in which he scored two goals and provided two assists. Previously, the hockey player played for Omsk Wings.
