The State Duma proposed giving drivers 15 minutes to remove the car from the tow truck.

Motorists whose car ended up on a tow truck should be given more opportunities to prevent it from being sent to a parking lot, for example, by giving them 15 minutes to deal with documents. This was stated by Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"If the driver claims to have documents in the car, they must immediately provide him with access to the documents in the car interior. If you declare that you can drive this vehicle, the evacuation procedure is temporarily stopped for 15 minutes so that the driver has the opportunity to bring documents and demonstrate," he said in an interview with TASS.

The relevant amendments, according to Nilov, have already been introduced into the draft law with clarifications of existing norms. He added that drivers who are faced with the evacuation of a vehicle (vehicle) will also have the opportunity to show electronic copies of the required documents to those responsible for this procedure.

"Do not touch the car if there is a driver. Fine him [for parking violations], but don't take the car to the parking lot. And then there will be order," summed up the head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs.

For which the owners of such cars can be brought to administrative responsibility from June 1.

On June 9, LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky proposed to cancel fines for drivers who forgot their driver's license, vehicle registration certificate or CTP policy. He sent a corresponding appeal to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev. The measures are not expected to be applied if the citizen is able to confirm that he has the required papers in electronic databases.
