The Directorate of the Russian Federal Security Service for the Donetsk People's Republic and the counterintelligence service of the Central Military District have discovered a cache of weapons left by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 11 by the press service of the regional department.

"A booby-trapped cache of foreign weapons was found near Krasnoarmeysk, which was left by the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the retreat for further use for sabotage and terrorist purposes," the report says.

Among the seized weapons are five hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers from NATO countries, a Turkish SAR 762 MT machine gun, a Canadian Colt 7.62 mm machine gun, a German HK416 assault rifle, an Italian AR-70/90 Beretta assault rifle and a Ukrainian Safari HG-105M shotgun.

It is specified that the found weapons were transferred to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

A similar cache was discovered in Krasnoarmeysky at the end of May. At that time, the FSB seized Javelin and NLAW anti-tank grenade launchers, three Swedish AT4 grenade launchers, a Spanish C90-CR-RR and a Czechoslovak RPG-75M, as well as three more anti-tank grenade launchers manufactured by NATO countries, two high-explosive HE120C mines and 10 hand grenades.
