Responsible fathers are most often men who had a traumatic childhood experience. Psychologist Yuri Kudryavtsev told about this in an interview with Izvestia.

"For example, the parents divorced in conflict, and then the father did not appear in the child's life: either he refused, or the mother did not allow him to communicate. And childhood memories push men to be more attentive to children in the family, even after a divorce, so that the child does not experience what they themselves lived in childhood," the specialist said.

According to him, in the case when the father is removed from education, the boy can grow up to be a normal man, but only if the mother does not set him up against the "prodigal dad" and does not cultivate in the child a sense of guilt for all the "goat men".

"If a mother turns a boy against his father and creates a sense of guilt in him, then he will grow up to be independent, dependent on his mother, and will have difficulty communicating with women," the source said.
