Alexey Samoilov appointed head of the LNR Government
Alexey Samoilov, who previously served as head of the administration of the head of the republic, was appointed head of the government of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). This was announced on June 10 by the head of the region Leonid Pasechnik.
Prior to that, since 2024, Egor Kovalchuk was the chairman of the Government of the republic. However, on May 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed him acting governor of the Bryansk region.
"I have submitted to the People's Council the candidacy of Alexei Nikolaevich Samoilov for the post of chairman of the government of the LPR," Pasechnik wrote on his channel in the Maks messenger.
According to him, the regional deputies voted unanimously for this decision.
On May 13, Fyodor Shchukin, acting head of Dagestan, signed a decree appointing Magomed Ramazanov chairman of the government of the republic. It was noted that the new Prime Minister was instructed to submit proposals on the structure of government.
