The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation is working on the issue of restoring the college in Starobilsk in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), damaged by a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 10 by the head of the department Sergey Kravtsov.

"Together with Lugansk, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, as the region's chief, and the Ministry of Construction, we are working on the issue of restoring destroyed facilities. I am sure that we will rebuild the college. This is very important, this work is underway," he said during a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and members of the government.

The minister added that the certification of college students continues, and all 329 graduates will receive their certificates by July 10.

The terrorist attack on the pedagogical college "exceeded the cup of patience" and will not go unpunished, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the educational building and the dormitory of the Starobilsk Pedagogical College on May 22. 21 people were killed and 65 others were injured.
