Activity of an extremist community with 150 participants was suppressed in Altai
In the Altai Territory, the activities of the interregional right-wing radical community, created by a local resident, whose members were more than 150 people in 21 subjects of the Russian Federation, were suppressed. This was announced on June 10 by a source of Izvestia.
It is noted that the group's organizer created local cells through the Telegram messenger in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Arzamas, Novokuznetsk, Vladimir and Tyumen to promote nationalist ideas. The community consisted of young people between the ages of 14 and 25.
The criminals planned and carried out actions of "direct action" against persons of non—Slavic nationality - arson of outlets, beatings, stabbing. Some members of the community were also supporters of the NS/WP terrorist organization (recognized as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation. — ed.) and justified her activities.
The organizers and the most active members of the group became defendants in criminal cases under Articles 205.2 and 205.5 of the Criminal Code ("Public calls for terrorist activities"), Articles 213 of the Criminal Code ("Hooliganism"), Articles 280 of the Criminal Code ("Public calls for extremist activities"), 282 and 282.1 of the Criminal Code ("Incitement of hatred or enmity based on gender, race or nationality"). Firearms and cold steel, improvised incendiary devices, and items with nationalist symbols were seized during the searches.
On May 15, the First Western District Military Court in St. Petersburg sentenced Rinat Ilyin and Nikita Krasilnikov, who were recognized as members of a cell of the Ukrainian "Russian Volunteer Corps" (RDK, recognized in the Russian Federation as a terrorist organization). The defendants were found guilty of preparing for a terrorist attack, participating in the activities of a terrorist organization and treason. Ilyin was sentenced to 15 years in prison, Krasilnikov — 16 years.
