A large-scale project to create a Center for Innovation and import substitution will be implemented in Shcherbinka, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his channel in the Maks messenger.

To implement the project, the Moscow authorities allocated a plot of over 2 hectares at the intersection of Ryazanovskoye Highway and Slavsky Avenue to the investor who will be involved in the construction. The lease agreement is concluded for five years, during which the work on the project will be fully completed.

Two buildings with a height of four to five floors will be built for the Shcherbinka Technopark. Six blocks with separate entrances are planned inside, where there will be areas for scientific research, design and design bureaus, said the mayor of the capital. Also, for the convenience of organizing work, ramps for loading and unloading are provided in one of the buildings. Stained glass windows, sandwich panels in shades of grey and bright yellow metal sheets will be used for exterior decoration. The buildings will be equipped with parking lots and recreation areas.

The launch of the new technopark will also become part of the city's program to stimulate the creation of employment opportunities: it is planned that about 1,300 new jobs will be created in the technopark for residents of the capital.
