In St. Petersburg, a pensioner took harsh revenge on a neighbor because of a downed cat that was walking in the yard. An elderly man set fire to the offender's foreign car, the press service of the regional department of the Interior Ministry reported on social media on Wednesday, June 10.

According to police, the story began back in January in the parking lot of apartment building No. 7 on Dunaysky Prospekt. On the night of January 11, dispatchers received a message about the fire of several cars.

In early June, the suspect was detained. He turned out to be an unemployed 66-year-old resident of the specified house. It turned out that a St. Petersburg man had set fire to a Hyundai H1 minivan. According to the defendant, the reason was the desire to take revenge on the driver for the death of a pet.
