Residents of Transbaikalia were warned about the strengthening of the wind

Weather conditions are expected to worsen in Transbaikalia. On Thursday, June 11, the wind will increase to 15-20 m/s. These are the data from the Hydrometeorological Center.

The Regional Ministry of Emergency Situations has warned residents of the region about the need to take precautionary measures. So, in case of strong wind, it is forbidden to light bonfires, burn garbage and dry grass, and perform work using an open fire.

ChitaMedia news agency clarifies that a special fire protection regime is in effect in the territory of the region. Those who violate its rules face administrative and criminal liability.

Earlier it was reported that the yellow weather hazard level due to thunderstorms will be in effect in the Moscow region until Friday, June 12. This is reported by the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia. The warning period is from 09:00 on June 10 to 21:00 on June 12 — the period from June 10 to June 12 in some areas of the Moscow region during the daytime, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected.
