The city that will host the grand final of the international competition for street culture and sports CARDO has become known. Instead of Stavropol, the event will be held in Vladivostok.

According to IA PrimaMedia with reference to the organizers of the project, the final will be held from September 16 to 20. For the first time in more than five years, the festival will not be held in Stavropol.

The postponement of the site became known on April 22. However, the host city of the grand final has only now been announced.

In January 2026, the organizers told about the planned event in Stavropol, the dates were called — from August 19 to August 23.

However, two weeks later, information appeared about the detention of the festival's general director, Valentin Rabochenko. Together with two subordinates, he was accused of embezzling more than 4 million rubles from a grant of 215 million rubles allocated from the regional budget for an event to promote street culture and sports.

Later, it was reported that a second criminal case had been opened against Rabochenko. His chief accountant was taken into custody for the same episode.

Rabochenko and his accomplices are suspected of fraud in catering and buying tickets for festival participants. The measure of restraint in the form of his stay in jail was extended until July 21.

Earlier it was reported that the Minister of Energy of the Stavropol Territory, Ivan Kovalev, was detained on suspicion of abuse of office. The arrest took place on the night of March 25. The Minister has held the post since 2021. A criminal case has been opened.
