Fines for violation of fire regulations in the forests of Yakutia exceeded 1 million rubles

In Yakutia, 82 violations of fire safety rules in forests have been detected since the beginning of the fire season. The fines for this administrative violation amount to 1.2 million rubles. 11 culprits of forest fires have been identified.

During this period, 67 forest fires were registered, with a total area of 34.2 thousand hectares, as well as 45 landscape fires with a total area of 1.2 thousand hectares. During the same period of 2025, experts recorded 134 forest fires with a total area of 48.8 thousand hectares and 184 landscape fires with a total area of 6.3 thousand hectares.

According to Andrei Konoplev, Deputy Minister of Ecology, Nature Management and Forestry of Yakutia, cited by IA YakutiaMedia, aviation monitoring of forest fires in the republic is carried out by 13 aircraft.

Currently, there are seven forest fires in the region with a total area of 564 hectares. Two of them have been localized. Three fires were stopped extinguishing due to remoteness, inaccessibility and mountainous terrain.

A special fire protection regime was established in Kobyai, Srednekolymsky, Tattinsky and Eveno-Bytantaysky districts.
