Reverse traffic was launched on the bridge between Arabatskaya Strelka and Genichesky

Traffic has been restored on the bridge connecting Arabatskaya Strelka with Genichesky, which was previously blocked due to the threat of a missile attack on it by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which is temporarily being carried out in reverse mode. This was announced on June 10 by the Governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo.

"The condition of the bridge allows for the organization of traffic. Repairs will be carried out on one lane. At 09:30 Moscow time, it is planned to start traffic on the bridge in reverse mode," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of the region clarified that experts had already conducted an inspection of the facility, in particular, the damage caused to its structure. He also appealed to residents to remain attentive and careful.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Kherson region, in particular the Genichesky district, became known on the same day. Ukrainian militants used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which also attacked Novotroitsk, Chaplinsky, Kalanchak, Ivanovo, Gornostayevsky and Kakhovsky districts. In addition, the attacks also hit the Novokakhovsky municipal formation.

A day earlier, Saldo reported that as a result of a night attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Chongar, the bridge bordering the Republic of Crimea was damaged again.
