The chances of finding traces of the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the Krasnoyarsk taiga, are extremely low due to overgrown grass and other natural factors. This was announced on June 10 by an experienced hiker Alexander Trepukov.

"Now that the snow has not just come down, but there is a grass cover, the task becomes more complicated. Everyone understands perfectly well that the taiga woodlands are not a vegetable garden: there are no traces left on the dense crust of last year's litter, covered with fresh, thick grass. Only some things may remain from the evidence, but I think it's extremely difficult to find the traces themselves," he told RIA Novosti.

Investigators resumed a large-scale search from June 4 to June 9, in which only experienced specialists participated. A checkpoint was set up on the territory to restrict access to outsiders and the media.

On June 4, the Investigative Committee began carrying out additional measures to search for the Usoltsev family. In total, about 80 people will participate in the events. The work will take place on hiking trails in the direction of Kuturchinsky Belogorye. On June 8, the Investigative Committee (IC) showed footage of the resumed searches.

The loss of the Usoltsev family in the Minsk Loop area, when they were heading to Mount Pinocchio, was reported on September 28, 2025. As a result of the search, more than 515 km of forest roads and 40 square kilometers of woodlands were explored.
