- The Russian Permanent Representative pointed out the consequences of the ban on the import of Russian fish into the EU.
The possible introduction by the European Union (EU) of a ban on fish imports from Russia as part of a new package of anti-Russian sanctions will lead to higher prices within the community itself. This was stated on June 9 by Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's Permanent Representative to the international organizations in Vienna, on the social network X.
"Most likely, they (sanctions. — Ed.) will only lead to an increase in fish prices in the EU," he said.
