Private Vadim Ilyin, as part of an artillery gun crew, was performing combat missions when he noticed an approaching drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Wednesday, June 10.

Immediately warning his comrades about the danger, Ilyin used standard weapons and shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which crashed to the ground at a safe distance and detonated.

The Defense Ministry also noted the determination of Sergeant Ivan Golikov, who provided medical assistance to wounded Russian servicemen.

Golikov was engaged in evacuating the wounded man when the Ukrainian Armed Forces sent a drone with a drop in the direction of the military. Golikov quickly took action and shot down the drone. He then successfully evacuated five more people.

At the medical stabilization center, the soldiers are being treated before being sent to the hospital.

On June 9, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense told how Lieutenant Vadim Udartsev, as part of a tank unit, provided fire support to Russian assault groups.
