An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. This was announced on June 9 by the government of the Kamchatka Territory with reference to geophysicists.

"The earthquake that residents of Kamchatka felt today occurred 85 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. <...> The magnitude is 5.2," the message on the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the hearth lay at a depth of 32 km.
