The driver of a Volkswagen car killed a pedestrian in the north-west of Moscow. This was announced by the press service of the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate on Tuesday, June 9.
According to preliminary information, the car ran over a pedestrian who was running across the roadway in an unidentified place on Isakovsky Street in the area of house 33.
"As a result of a road accident, a pedestrian died on the spot from his injuries," the Moscow City News agency quoted the report as saying.
Traffic police officers and an investigative task force are working at the scene.
