Anthony Guider, an actor from The Godfather, died at the age of 62.

American actor Anthony Guidera, known for his supporting role in The Godfather film series, passed away on June 6 at the age of 61. This was reported on June 9 by the TMZ portal.

The cause of the artist's death was sudden cardiac arrest. His wife Valerie said that Anthony lost consciousness while at home.

He was urgently hospitalized and connected to a life support machine for three weeks, but it was not possible to save him, and it was decided to disconnect him from the machine. At the same time, the doctors themselves could not explain why the actor's heart stopped.

Guidera played in several dozen projects, including "The Godfather 3", "Armageddon", "Ambulance", "The Rock", "Star Trek: Deep Space 9", "Detective Nash Bridges" and other famous films and TV series.

In 1996, he won the MTV Movie Award in the Best Kiss category for his scene with Natasha Henstridge in the film The Special.
